Announcing the Frost Fit Winter Series Presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts

During these long, cold Boston winters, it may be tempting to freeze those exercise routines and hibernate indoors until spring appears. With proper gear and a positive mindset, you can experience the unique beauty of the Esplanade while starting the new year with healthy habits.

Warm up, score cool swag, and get your blood pumping at the Frost Fit Winter Series Presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.

We’re thrilled to partner with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, the November Project, and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation to bring this first-of-its-kind series to the Esplanade in February and March. Learn more below:


Saturday Workouts Hosted by the November Project

Every Saturday in February, instructors from the November Project will lead you through running loops, body-weight exercises, and other fun, energetic activities designed to keep you moving (and therefore warm).

Anyone who attends these workouts will receive a Frost Fit Series fleece headband*, bagels, coffee, and hot chocolate.

Saturdays — February 2, 9, 16, and 23
10:00 to 11:00am
Meet in front of the DCR Hatch Shell

Participants are encouraged to dress in layers and bring mats!

* Limited to first 450 participants

End of Series Celebration

To finish the series strong, we’re planning an outdoor celebratory fitness event in March. Stay tuned for more information about a heart-pounding workout that’s going to be tons of fun! Date TBD.
