The Esplanade Association, working in collaboration with the Department of Conservation and Recreation, is dedicated to enhancing the experiences of the millions of visitors who enjoy Boston’s iconic riverside greenspace.

Report Problems

To report problems at the park please use the Esplanade-1-1 Non-Emergency Feedback System for the Esplanade. If it’s an emergency, please call 911.

Special Use Permit

DCR requires a Special Use Permit for any use or activity which exceeds in any way the common use of DCR parklands. These include and are not limited to events such as:

  • Sporting activities and tournaments
  • Concerts
  • Charity walks
  • Road races
  • Cultural festivals
  • Group gatherings
