We encourage volunteers to bring no more than what is needed for their volunteer day and to be mindful this is a public park. We will provide a home base where volunteers can drop-off their belongings, though note it will not be a secured location. One of our staff members will stay in that location throughout the entire event. Esplanade Association staff is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

The specific location and volunteer task of your volunteer event is based on the needs of the park and is determined by our Park Operations team a week prior to the event. We will email your team’s group leader a week prior to the event with a detailed project overview, which will include general guidelines, location, nearest t-stop and volunteer tasks.
